The main difference between the PRINCE² Foundation course and the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification course is that PRINCE² Foundation is designed for individuals who want to learn about business process management and gain an understanding of project management.
While the PMP® certification course is aimed at those who want to develop the Prince2 course online skills and expertise required to become a Certified Project Manager (CPM®), the former offers a broader spectrum of knowledge and experience.
Although the PMP® Certification is designed as an accreditation in project management, PRINCE² Foundation is offered for individuals who already have project management experience. In the PRINCE² Foundation courses, participants receive the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) in six modules, including Introduction to PRINCE² Foundation.
